FOREWORD

First of All we would like to say Thank you to Allah SWT the
Mercy God. Secondly, we wanted to say thank you to our Chemistry
Teacher, my Parents, also my friends. This Paper with titled ACID
BASE . would be one of the tasks and requirements to complete the
task chemical subjects in the second semester of Muhammadiyah 2
senior high school .
On this paper we are going to explain you about acid base and
also prove the existence of acid base in the liquids. In writing this
paper , we feel there are still many shortcomings , either on the
writing of technical and material , recall the capability of being we
have .For that the criticism and suggestions from all parties very
writer expect by the refinement of the manufacture of this paper .

The end of a word, we are waiting and hoping this paper could
be expand your knowledge about acid base.

3. Then in each hole is dipped red litmus paper and observe the
changes that occur.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 using blue litmus paper
5. Repeat steps 1-3 but in each hole it is dropped with
Phenolflatein solution.
6. Repeat steps 1-3 but in each hole it is dropped with methyl
red solution.
*note = every change of treatment should be drop dish and washed and dried first.

CHAPTER III
CONCLUSION

Based on the experiment, we can conclude that the way to

determine acid, base, and neutral solution are to use the litmus-paper,
by lookin the color changes that occur the dipped litmus paper.
If the Litmus-paper turned into blue color, it means the
characteristic of the solution is Base. In other hand if the Litmus-
paper turned into red color, it means the characteristic of the solution
is acid. Then, If the Litmus-paper do not turn into any color, it means
the solution is neutral.
