Having read the acronyms, choose at least 5 which of the following acronym and its
compounded term do you find more interesting? Expound your choice.

1. Accept the fact that English is a part of your life as a Tourism students.
 The role of English is important for tourism industry as a means to communicate,
negotiate, and execute transactions with tourists. Since English is a basic skill to
learn and understand, it is widely used as a means of communicating and
exchanging ideas among people all over the world. We are all encouraged to
speak English as Tourism students since it is the world's universal language. The
tourism course, as we all know, involves anything relevant to the hospitality and
travel industries. Speaking this language is essential in understanding everything
we deal on.
2. Verbal skills are required in our job which demands both linguistics and operational
proficiency.
 Maintaining good business and job relationships requires excellent verbal
communication. It is essential in order to deliver and understand information
quickly and accurately. It boosts productivity, reduces errors, and improves the
efficiency of operations. It also can help prevent miscommunication and
confusion and can reduce errors while increasing productivity and understanding.
Being able to communicate effectively in our job is a vital life skill. To
communicate well is to understand, and be understood.
3. Talk to friends in English.
 Talking with your friends is a good way to practice your English communication
skills. Apart from that, we will learn a lot from them. We can begin with small
conversations to help us adapt and become more comfortable with the language. It
is important to practice your new language in real-life scenarios in order to
acquire the courage to speak it. Practice makes perfect.
4. Never be afraid to make mistake. Remember, to err is human.
 It is natural to make mistakes in learning a language. According to research,
making mistakes is the best way to learn a language. Making mistake will help us
learn from them and reduces our chances of making them again. We should
practice studying our mistake to see what we can work and improve on. Making
mistakes teaches us what doesn't work and motivates us to develop new ways of
thinking and acting. They are viewed as educational opportunities in having
creative and innovative mindset. This mindset adjustment will give us with the
motivation to learn something new and better.
5. Have faith in yourself that “you can if you will”.
 If you want to learn and improve something in your life, believe that you can do
it. Learning language is hard at first but once we become comfortable doing it, it
will become easy improving it. Your thoughts become words and your words
become your actions. If you continue to tell yourself that you believe in yourself,
eventually you really will believe in yourself. You will have the courage to take
immediate action on your goals if you believe in yourself. English is one of the
key that unlocks a world of possibility.
