INTRODUCTION
Genesis 28:12-17 
“And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to
heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.  
And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy
father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy
seed;  
And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west,
and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all
the families of the earth be blessed.  
And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will
bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I
have spoken to thee of.  
And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I
knew it not.  
And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house
of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”
A gate is for security and protection. In the Bible, the gate was a focal point of
power.
 Business was conducted at the gate.
 Military strategy was planned at the gate.
 Judgment and punishments were delivered at the gate.
 Gates ultimately determine entry and exit into a house, a city or lives.
Abraham's Nephew, Lot sat at the gate of Sodom as an elder. So, in ancient
times, gates were very important because the safety of a city was determined by
the strength of the gate. If the enemy stormed the gate and succeeded, the horses
and chariots of war would enter into it. So, when the gate came down, the city
was conquered.
Every person’s breakthrough is at the mercy of the strength and activities at the
gates of their lives.
Psalms 24:7-10 
“Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of
glory shall come in.  
Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.  
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of
glory shall come in.  
Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory.”

MAJOR GATES OF LIFE – TO BE ENGAGED FOR YOUR

ADVANCEMENT
There are THREE (3) major manifestations of the Advancement Agenda in your
life and they each make use of one of the three (3) major gates of life.

THE HEAD GATE – for MENTAL EXCELLENCE

This is the gate for entry and manifestation of the mind of God through Ideas,
Concepts and Insights.
 The Head is the Place of Participation -
1 Timothy 5:22 
“Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself
pure.”
The Head Gate is a place of participation in what a person carries by reason of
performance and placement.
 The Head is the Place of Covering –
2 Kings 2:3,5 
“And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto
him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And
he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.
And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him,
Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he
answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.”
The covering over your head is what determines what gains access to you and
what identity you carry in the realm of the Spirit. It determines what answers to
you in the Spirit.
 The Head is the Place of Consecration and Empowerment –
Psalms 23:5 
“Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my
head with oil; my cup runneth over.”
Ecclesiastes 9:8 
“Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.”
The oil of consecration and empowerment upon the head opens a person up to a
realm of supernatural thinking – after the order of God.
ATTACK IN THE HEAD GATE
 Disconnection from Divine Source – Spiritual Baldness
Ezekiel 8:3 
“And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the
spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of
God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was
the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy”
Judges 16:17-20 
“That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon
mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven,
then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.  
And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords
of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath shewed me all his heart. Then
the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand.  
And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him
to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength
went from him.  
And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and
said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the
LORD was departed from him.”

 Demonic Operations of Horns – Covenants, Systems and Structures.

Zechariah 1:21 
“Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which
have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray
them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of
Judah to scatter it.”

 Spiritual Misrepresentation – Marks, Labels & Layers

Genesis 4:15 
“And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be
taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him
should kill him.”

THE HAND GATE – for PRODUCTIVITY & INCRESE

 The hand gate is the place for battles and conquest.
Psalms 144:1 
“Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to
fight”

 The hand gate if the place for profitability in labour – to bring you into
increase.
2 Chronicles 15:7 
“Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be
rewarded.”
Proverbs 14:23 
“In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.”
Ecclesiastes 5:9 
“Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field.”

 The Defilement of the Hands – Corruption & Blood Money
2 Corinthians 6:17 
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch
not the unclean thing; and I will receive you”
Matthew 27:6 
“And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into
the treasury, because it is the price of blood.”

 Demonic Impositions – Spiritual Tolls, Levies & Customs.

2 Chronicles 8:8 
“But of their children, who were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel
consumed not, them did Solomon make to pay tribute until this day.”
Ezra 4:13 
“Be it known now unto the king, that, if this city be builded, and the walls set up again,
then will they not pay toll, tribute, and custom, and so thou shalt endamage the revenue
of the kings.”

 Idleness & Slothfulness of the Hands

Proverbs 19:15 
“Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.”
Ecclesiastes 10:18 
“By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the
house droppeth through.”
THE FEET GATE – for FAVOURED PRESENCE
 The Feet Gate is the place where honour, promotion and possession are
accessed.
Obadiah 1:17 
“But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of
Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
  The Feet Gate is the place of Witness – to access approval of heaven over
a case.
Nahum 1:3 
“The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked:
the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of
his feet.”
Luke 9:5 
“And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust
from your feet for a testimony against them.”

 The Tragedy of Wrong Location – Misalignment with the Land
Isaiah 48:17 
“Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God
which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.”
Job 5:22-23 
“At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of
the earth.  
For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be
at peace with thee.”

 The Snail Syndrome of Slow Pace –

Joel 2:4 
“The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they
run.”
Psalms 18:28-29 
“For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.  
For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.”

 The Curse of Delays and Retrogression

Joel 2:25-26 
“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the
caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.  
And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God,
