Notice: On October 7, 2019, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) implemented new samples based on methodological
changes to improve the accuracy of its estimated weekly retail prices of residential No. 2 heating oil and propane. These
methodological changes include
EIA will monitor the results from this sample and the performance of the methods.
Weekly heating oil and propane prices are only collected during the heating season, which extends from October through March.
