1-INSTRODUCTION:

Sometimes it can be difficult for students to understand what they like to do, what
they can or can do. In school careers, it's easy to get a little confused about learning
life projects. To be effective, guidance should include the process of educating
students from an early age. It is important that they are given the opportunity to
become involved and explore themselves and their potential by learning to fulfill their
commitments. This project finds its pedagogical response through Gardner's "multiple
intelligence theory". By providing a greater synergy between school and family, while
making a prosperity and opportunity for school students to their school life "in their
own right to find their way" to live a useful experience, self-expression and self-
awareness aims to promote

Our eTwinning project, which is carried out with the participation of 7 school teachers
and students from 5 different countries, is within the scope of the ‘when I Grow up
eTwinning Project’; 54 primary school students in the 2020-2021 academic year
(Turkey), 9 Elementary School student (Italy), 20  Elementary School student (Jordan),
12 Elementary School student (Romania), 24 primary school students (Greece) was given
trainings on discovering their talents and skills.

It consists of practices related to the ability and skills of students participating in
activities in schools participating in the project.

2 -AIMS:

The project allows students to explore their skills, potential, dreams for the future,
and gain the necessary level of motivation through peer collaboration and support. They
take an active role in their learning, in discovering and developing their abilities, in
expressing their curiosity, in using strategies to face challenges, and in always gaining more
self-awareness to begin building their own life plans. Students experiment themselves by
thinking deeply to understand the world around them, developing critical thinking and
fantasy, feeding their imaginations with elements of the working world they will encounter
while growing up. They learn to take responsibility and think about the meaning and
consequences of their choices, managing feelings for themselves, others, and the
environment. Students will develop different skills: verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical,
spatial-visual, bodily-kinesthetic, Musical, Interpersonal.

The aim of this study is to raise awareness of students ' abilities and skills through
various activities of the students participating in the project. With these activities,
students will discover their skills and abilities. It is to enable them to design what they will
do in the future with the skills they have discovered.

3- METHOD

Students participating in the project participated in workshop activities in the fields

of verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical spatial-visual, bodily-kinesthetic, musical.

1-I Can Code Activities: block-based coding training was given to students in these
activities. Students,Code.org activities were sent through it.

2-I Can Draw Activities: in this activity, students also made pictures of the subjects
they determined in their classes. They then presented the pictures they had made to their
friends. Students gave their opinion about the photos of their friends. 3 most liked pictures
were awarded.
3-I Can Sing & Dance Activities: in this event, students determined a song in their
classes. Each student designed their own dance figures to sing the song they set and to
that song. Each student presented his prepared performances to his other friends.
Students evaluated the performances of their friends. 3 most acclaimed performances
were awarded.

4-I Can Tell Activities: in this event, students wrote a story about a topic they
determined in their classes. Each student read the story he had written to his friends.
Students evaluated the performances of their friends. 3 most acclaimed performances
were awarded.

In each activity, student groups consisting of mixed country teams worked together
to create a product.

At the end of the events, students were asked about the areas where they were
most successful. They were given ideas about the reasons for their success. Students were
asked what professions they would prefer in the future for their abilities they had
discovered.

During the activities, students were guided only within their needs; their products
were evaluated. Activities were closely monitored with the assessments made.

      4- FINDINGS AND COMMENTS

From 5 countries 119 according to the data obtained from primary school students,
students participating in the activities in the draft of the project have put forward
products within the framework of the determined activities. Students ' products and
performances have been observed to be original and creative.

It has been observed that students ' imaginations develop in the right proportion
with these activities. Thanks to the activities, it was revealed that students were aware of
their abilities.
