    The KPK govt in 2019 laid the foundations of this program by approving it in its ADP 2019-2020. It is
    intended to provide stipends to students coming from backward areas to promote education in
    them. The program offers Rs1000 per month to female students and Rs500 per month to male
    students.

    The main obstacle since 2019 to implement this program was deciding about how would it be
    executed as it was hard to reach out remote areas but now it has been decided that posting and
    bank transfer services will be used for distribution of money.

    This program is expected to benefit nearly 600,000 students from 12 districts combined.
