questions below.

1. How would you differentiate the parole system in the Philippines from the other foreign
countries?

ANSWER;In philippines refers to the conditional release of an offender from a correctional

institution after he has served the minimum of his prison sentence. The American Probation
and Parole Association is an international association composed of individuals from the
United States and Canada actively involved with probation, parole and community-based
corrections, in both adult and juvenile sectors.

2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of parole as community-based program in the
Philippines?

ANSWER;The advantages of a probation sentence over incarceration include allowing

the offender to work in the community, earn money to support his or her family, and
to have the support of friends and family while attending counseling sessions.
Probation costs the state only a fraction of what a jail or prison term cost. And the
Disadvantages include concerns about the lack of punishment, increased risk to the
community, and increased social costs. The legal environment of probation and
parole is interesting because convicted offenders have fewer legal protections than
someone accused of a crime.
3. How is parole & executive clemency help in correctional management? 5. What are the impacts of
parole to the parolee and the community

ANSWER; parole also reduces prison overcrowding, granting offenders who are
considered unlikely to harm others the benefit of supervised life in society. Parole
helps the government try to cut down on the high costs of maintaining large prison
populations while keeping the population at large safe. ?
