My name is Clifford, I am a fresh graduate with a Bachelor of Arts (BA/S.Sos) in International Relations from University of
Cliffordshire, hereby writing this letter to express my interest in the Consultant position at Roland Berger. Given my interest in the
management consulting industry, my academic background in the field of International Political Economy, as well as my prior
professional and organizational experiences, I believe I would be the most fitting candidate for the position.

Work & Professional Experience: Highlight your role, achievements, and what you learnt from each experience.
As a fresh graduate, my professional backgrounds come mostly from internship experiences, as well as my active
involvement in various prominent youth organizations. Last year (2016), I was accepted as the very first intern of (Company Name),
working very closely with (Stakeholder 1) and (Stakeholder 2), in which I assisted the research and composition of position papers for
the (Stakholder 2) in regards to their attendance in intergovernmental forums such as the MENA-OECD Governance Forum (Tunis,
Tunisia) and the 135​th Inter-Parliamentary Union (Geneva, Switzerland). Right after working at (Company Name), I landed an
internship at (Company 2), in which I worked directly with (Stakeholder 3) and (Stakeholder 4), which aimed to map the social
enterprises community in Indonesia. Due to commendable performance at work, I was referred to the join (Company 3)—by my
former supervisor, which led to (Internship at Company 3). My most recent internship takes place at (Company 4), in which I worked
as a (Consulting Intern) in two projects: 1) a leading financial institution in South East Asia; and 2) a prominent timber company in
Indonesia. This further broadened my exposure to the management consulting industry as I was exposed to a first-hand experience of
the actual consulting work, as well as extensive knowledge and information of the work pace, environment, and performance
expectations of a management consultant in the real business cases.

Academic, Organizational, and Other College Experience: Highlight the achievement and what it translates to (e.g. winning at
MUN means you’re good at Research & Public Speaking)

In addition to all that, I believe that my academic and organisational achievements can support my endeavour to work at
COMPANY. In terms of academic performance, I achieved a ​cum laude GPA of 3.99 (out of 4.00). In addition to that, I have been
winning, judging, and coaching numerous delegations in various local and international (English and Indonesian) debate and Model
United Nations competitions, in which I learnt to research, communicate, compose formal documents, negotiate with people of various
backgrounds, and present my arguments and ideas articulately in public. I was also recently awarded as one of the scholarship
recipients of Young Leaders for Indonesia (YLI), a prestigious leadership program for high-achieving university students developed
by McKinsey and Company. In terms of organisational and people-management skills, my leadership capabilities have brought me to
hold important positions at various organisations, such as being the Head of Project Management Division of (Organisation 1) and the
Secretary-General of (Organisation 2). Those achievements indicate that I can work independently but also perform well in a team.
But above all my achievements and experience, I am a hardworking individual, ready to learn new things and willing to take up any
challenges that I will experience at COMPANY as POSITION.
