PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The aim Common Data warehouse project is to integrate the Orlando and Chain links information into
Data warehouse .Chain links consist loans information and Orlando consist leases information .Using
this two source system pull the loans and leases information into data ware house. To integrate these
two source systems we need to do analysis using existing FF packages and tables and offer the user for
testing. So the users can get the reports according to their profit areas. So, that they Analyze Business in
different locations, According Profit areas, which could serve a purpose of Decision makers.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
WMS systems are used to measure quality of different products ( PSG and EWMS) and are system of
record for reporting and contracts with the suppliers and manufacturer’s for financial recovery. In
summary, we measure failure rates against the warranty install base along multiple dimensions to be
able to see how different products are performing, what feedback need to be provided to the Prod Engg
Teams for improvements, supply chain for inventory management, what cost recovery could be done
from our vendors whose products are integrated in our products/solutions. (eg Intel’s chips are installed
in HP laptops).If high failure rates then it damages our reputation & customer satisfaction scores
thereby eroding future revenue growth etc. therefore it is a serious issue where we need accurate
visibility. Also used for Aspire planning and allocation of business to the partners.
Using Informatica Power Center as an ETL tool to pull data from source systems, transforms,
and load data into targets in various Layers.
Creating the mappings based on the mapping specification document and creates sessions and
workflows for respective Mappings.
Working on Power Center client tools like Source Analyzer, Target designer, Mapping
Designer.
Importing Sources and Targets from Shared Folder and used Shortcuts in Mappings.
Prepared Pre and Post SQL Queries used in the Session Level.
Working on the transformations such as Expression, Lookups, Filter, Router, Sorter, Joiner,
Sequence Generators, Aggregators, Union, and Rank.
Create Sessions and Workflows and run the Workflows through Third Party tool Tidal.
After Successful the workflows, Execute the Row Count Validatation queries to check the
count match between Source and Target.
Migration of Components from individual folders to Release folder and others (SIT,UAT, Pre
Prod and Prod)
Perform the Unit testing whether the data is loading based on the business logic or not.

Best Buy Co., Inc is North America’s number-one Specialty retailer of consumer electronics, personal
computers, entertainment software and appliances. Best Buy has approximately 3,000 retail outlet in
USA, Canada and magnolia. The Atomic services will be provided as a set of discrete Services attached
as nodes on the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). This will allow applications to have access to these
reusable services through a standard and loosely coupled interface.
