CIRCLE TIME
In Today's Circle Time, we begin the day with the routine
Good Morning Song, Weather song, Days of the week,
Months of the year, Alphabet Song, Number Song, Music &
Movement Song and Washing hands activity.

Instruction for parents

1. Let’s make a circle by listening to the attached link on

2. Talk about the weather: Sing along with your child the
‘Weather Song’. Discuss with the child by asking him/her about ‘How’s the weather today?’

3. Sing aloud names of the Days of the week and the Months of the year along with the child.
Help them try recalling the days of the week and months of the year with different actions
like clapping, tapping the feet, rolling hands, jumping etc.

7.Today we are going to engage children in washing hands activity. Let’s teach them how to thoroughly
wash hands before and after meals, when they come back home and after playing. Let’s follow step by step
the video by wetting hands, applying soap, rubbing, washing and then drying. We are sure children will
enjoy the activity and at the same time learn good hygiene habits. With this we come to the end of the
Circle Time.

Fun Activity- Parents should do this activity along with the child.
What is the best method of hand washing to prevent infection?
• Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold).
• Use soap. Rub your hands together for 20 seconds - about as long as it takes to sing
"Happy Birthday" twice.
• We must be careful about closing the tap while we are soaping and rubbing our hands for
20 seconds. We cannot afford to run out of water while keeping ourselves safe.
• Rinse.
• Dry your hands with a clean towel or let them air dry.
