Fun Filled Activities For

Summer Vacation
Dear Parents ,
Teachers have made an attempt to keep our students
creatively busy during the summer vacations. It will help them
to keep in touch with the concepts taught in the class.
Involve your daughter in the following fun-filled activities :
Children learn best when they are active participants, so plan a
schedule to be followed by your daughter during the holidays.
 Encourage your daughter to develop good
habits and etiquettes.
 Let her watch only those programmes on TV which
are related to her age group. Play educational
games with her like Number Bingo , Spell bee
 Involve your daughter in picture reading. Read
interesting stories to your daughter by explaining
their morals to improve her language and enhance
her vocabulary. Help her to narrate her favorite
story in English.
 Guide your daughter in performing the self-
sufficient tasks by telling her -dress yourself, tie
shoe laces, comb your hair, button your shirt, write
your name, etc
We hope you and your daughter would enjoy these
activities together as we can achieve success only with
your unflinching support and co-operation.

Make her perform the following tasks during the vacation :

Story telling is the most powerful

way to put ideas into the world.

 Pick your favourite story and enact / narrate the

story in simple words using appropriate props,
dress or puppet. Make a video of the same and
share with the class teacher.
( In English )
Also share the moral of the story.
Nature itself is the best physician.

 Create a short video of showing few plants or parts of

plants with medicinal properties and share about the
health benefits of that part of the plant . Also share how
you take care of plants around you .
Let’s Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

 Best out of Waste - Create any one air/ water/ land

transport using the any old / waste material available at
home speak few lines on it & how you made it . ( You
can make an edited video involving method of making
the same )

Let’s Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

 Create an ”Organizer” to arrange your stationery or

accessories (pins, hair bands and rubber bands) by using
a shoe box. Display your creativity by decorating it with
waste material like left over wool, wrapping sheets,
buttons, pom poms , ribbons, etc

Toys are children’s words
& play is their language .

 Play is the highest expression of human development in

childhood. Let’s try to create a toy / board game that is
powered by your imagination and not just batteries.
Using some eco-friendly craft material create an
educational toy or a board game . The toy / board game
can be related to any subject or topic of your choice

Simple steps to help stop the
spread

 During this current situation we all are doing our bit to

keep our self & our loved ones safe.
On a A-3 sheet draw/ paste any four safety measures we
must follow to prevent the spread of virus .

 Encourage her to perform the weekend tasks and click

some pictures of the child while performing the task.

1. 8th-9th May 2021 Arrange your shoes in the shoe rack

2. 15th- 16th May Fold your napkins and your personal
2021 22nd- 23rd clothes.
May 2021
3. 29th- 30th May Setting the books in the book shelf and
2021 5th -6th study table after sorting
June 2021

 Revise all the concepts done so far.
