This document provides three examples of calculations to determine the calibration range for level measurements using closed tank wet leg and remote seal level transmitters. Each example shows the calculation of the differential pressure at 4mA (0% level) and 20mA (100% level) points factoring in tank dimensions, fluid densities, and sensor locations and orientations. The calibration ranges provided are from -84 to -29 inches H2O, -73 to -29 inches H2O, and -85 to -30 inches H2O for the three examples respectively.
