Preface

NCTB has published a shortened syllabus considering the COVID-19 situation. The classes and
SSC examination of 2021 will be held according to this short syllabus. In the context of the
changed situation, we have followed the revised syllabus and designed this timely and student-
friendly Made Easy. Panjeree is unique in designing a Made Easy based on adequate research,
and it is expected that this book will be a reliable guide to you.
English is a very significant subject. You can obtain remarkably high marks if you practice
sufficiently following a proper method. Keeping that in mind, we have redesigned this English
Made Easy with great care.
In the question bank section of this book, there are model questions prepared based on the
board examination questions and test examination questions of cadet colleges along with other
top graded schools of the country. All these are included considering the shortened syllabus and
revised question patterns. In addition to that, an analytical set of suggestions has been included.
A complete set of answers has been provided in the answer key section of the Made Easy. Also
to ensure sufficient scope for chapter-wise preparation, all the questions and answers have
been arranged according to the chapter sequence. If you practice the book properly, you are
expected to get rid of all the confusions regarding the creative questions, and eventually, you
will be able to provide 100% correct answers.
We acknowledge and respect all the teachers for their hard work to improve the quality of the
book.
Finally, dear learners, we wish you the very best for your future endeavors. All the efforts and
talents behind this book will be validated only if it helps you to achieve your desired goals.

How to Follow/Use the Book:

There are two parts in the SSC Made Easy English Short Syllabus Exam Preparation— a
question bank, and an answer key part. Now, try to understand how to take preparations for the
exam in the shortest time using these two parts of the Made Easy.
Step-1:
First, take a look at the rearranged and shortened syllabus introduced by the NCTB. You will get
a complete picture of the learning outcome based question patterns from the respective subject
matter.
Step-2:
Now, considering the guidelines provided in the syllabus, follow the answer key part of the Made
Easy for chapter-wise practice. According to the contents and learning outcomes of the
shortened syllabus, many board and test examination questions along with the answers have
been provided in this part. The more you will practice this part, the more adept you will become.
Step-3:
Take the model tests in the question bank part in order to know how much progress you have
made in your chapter-wise preparation. In this part, you will find a good number of model
questions designed according to the shortened syllabus and also by combining different board
and test examination questions of the previous years. Take the tests at home and check the
answers from the answer key part. If you find weaknesses in a particular chapter, practice the
questions of those chapters again.
Step-4:
In the final stage of your preparation, take the exclusive model tests following a time table. Here
you will find learning outcome and subject matter based exclusive questions prepared according
to the short syllabus. You will find the answers of these models also in the answer key part. So,
take these time-bound model tests, and make yourself confident.
Step-5:
Before the examination, take a quick look at the suggestion part. Check the suggestions for
different chapters and then the suggestions provided for specific contents. Based on that,
practice the questions of the super suggestions section with more care. Finally, to get the
maximum number of common questions in the examination, practice the critical reasoning
questions and also those carrying solid marks.
