The maps exhibit how a community center changed from the past to present.

(The maps given compare the current arrangements of a community center with that of the past.)

It is noticeable that some function such as garden, café, gym are replaced for car park and reception
while there are no change observed in a lot of sections.

(Overall, some of the center’s functions were cut. The area became more spatial and the car park was
particularly widened.)

A glance at the charts reveals that in the past, the location and area of two meeting rooms were
unchanged that are in the north-west of the layout. The car park was located in the east part of the
whole site and occupied approximately a half of total of areas of the community center. While at
present, it extends and takes the place of garden which used to be situated in the south-west corner of
the center.
The area of café and a part of gym are converted into reception section, along with that, the IT room is
expanded slightly. For art room, its location was not different from the original one however, its size
decreases inconsiderably.
