below show the layout of a university’s sports center now, and how it will look after redevelopment.

The pictures compare the current map of a university’s sports center with the proposed plan for
redeveloping it in the future.

We can see that several changes will be made to the sports center including extending the external wall
of the center and adding new facilities such as dance studios. The 25m indoor pool, the main entrance
and the reception will remain unchanged.

There are two separate outdoor courts right now that in the future the western one will change to a
leisure pool and the courts on the east will shrink in size and transform to a sports hall. Two dance
studios are going to be built on the west northern part of this center. Two changing room also are
planned to be added in each south corner of the map. Moreover, a café and a sports shop will be
constructed next to each new changing room.

At the present time, there is a 25-metre pool in the center of the plan, which shares walls with the
changing room in the west, a seating in the east, a reception in the south and a gym in the north. The
gym will be expanded almost as twice as its current size, but there will be no changes in the indoor pool
as well as its three other neighboring facilities. No plan is suggested to change the entrance.
