Second attempt:

The maps illustrate several changes to a beachfront area in Australia in 1950 and today.

Overall, while there are dramatic changes to the beach in terms of recreation facilities, the beach itself
remains unchanged.

As can be seen in the first map, a road connecting the city with a car park. Additionally, there were a
playground, dining tables, a pavilion which were near the road. In the East and the West of the beach,
two 25 meter-pools were situated.

At present, the road undergoes a big change that it is extended in addition to the existing car park
running from the city to the light house which is on the beach. While, the dining tables and the pavilion
are kept, a new restaurant and two surf clubs closed to the beach are installed to the west side of the
beach. While the swimming pool to the east remains unchanged, the one to the west is renovated to
become doubled in size.
