The maps illustrate how a beachfront area in Australia have developed between 1950 and

present.

Overall, there were significant changes, for instance, the road extended, and thus,
nowadays it is a motor vehicle access. Besides, there has been an increase in relax zone.

In 1950, the road to the beach was ended at a car park and it wasn’t expanded. Now the
road’s length has been extended, and so, this leads to a light house which was in 1950 also.
Besides, the surf club has been constructed as in 1950 it wasn’t located at that place but the
25 meters pool locates in the same place where it was.

Besides, in 1950 there was located a playground, dining tables and pavilion which have
almost no changes now, except for a children’s playground which has been replaced at the
second car park. Also, near the beach the pool which was 25 m in 1950 has been replaced at
50m pool. There is located a restaurant and one more surf club between restaurant and
beach.
