The provided illustrations show the changes that took place in the beachfront area in Australia in

1950 and the present.

A closer look at the diagram highlights the fact that more constructions were created and more
outdoor activities related to beach can be conducted there at the moment.

Looking at the maps in more detail, the traffic road from the city was extended and connected to
the lighthouse located to the north so that people can easily sightsee the lighthouse by their car.
One further point to note is the playground situated on the northeast was demolished to make way
for additional car park where tourists can leave their vehicles conveniently. It is notable that the new
restaurant and the surf club to the east and another surf club on the left-hand side of the light house
were constructed to serve visitors’ food need and surfing purposes. Interestingly, the only features
which are still unchanged are the dinning tables,the pavilion, the lighthouse and the swimming pool
to the right-hand side of the beach.
