The provided illustrations show the changes that take place in an island before and after

the construction of some tourist facilities.

A closer look the maps highlight the fact that more building were erected and people
can easily move around the island thanks to the construction of foothpath and vehicle track.
Looking at the maps in more details, the reception was built in the middle of the island,
which once was vacant land before. One further point to note is that six accommodations to
the western side and nine counterparts to the eastern side of the reception were
constructed to serve tourists and the native’ accommodation purpose. It is also notable that
a new pier located on the southern of the reception, which is used by boats to allow
passengers to get on and off, was built. Interestingly, the restaurant to the north was
constructed with the purpose of serving local cuisine. In addition, the beach to the
north-east now can be used for swimming.
