RADIO
The Morning Rush by Chico and Delamar

I started listening to The Morning Rush last year, when my sister and I decided to look for good music on
the radio before we went to school. That’s when we heard laughter from the DJs Chico and Delamar and
thought a good laugh was better before going to our schools. We listen to them regularly from then on.

Basically, the Top 10 is a part of the show where in the DJs would think of a topic and the listeners would
send in their best entries to be ranked. They change topics everyday and would pick the best and read
them on air. I send my own entries as well which makes me the youngest Rusher in the group (for now).

I love music very much but what inspires me the most is to have a good communication skill and very
spontaneous when it comes to conversation and adlibs. The duo has these characteristics and their voice
were really modulated and I said to myself that I want to be like them.

From then till the now, I still listen to this program even on Spotify.

TELEVISION
Japanese Tagalized Cartoons Every Morning on ABS CBN
(Cedie, Sarah, Ang Munting Prinsesa, Pamilya Von Trapp, The Adventures of Peter Pan, Dog of Flanders,
Julio at Julia etc.)

These tagalized cartoons series were aired during the 90s and I make it point to watch these before going
to school especially Peter Pan. I want to be part of the case going to Neverland and fight Captain Hook
(Hahaha!).

My Mom and Dad listen to radio stations playing old love songs like Love Radio and Home Radio early
morning and afternoon siesta and I also love listening to those type of music with matching concert
because back in the old days we do not have karaoke, only radio and jukebox.

We, as a family bonding, we always watch “The Simpsons”, the longest running western cartoon series.
Going back to my younger years, The Simpson is only aired at the RPN-9 TV Network, 8:00pm before we
go to bed.
