In this activity sheet, you will be provided with activities that will
improve your understanding in tracing the path of typhoons that
enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) using map and
tracking data
III. Objectives
After going through this learning activity sheet, you are expected to:
Tropical cyclones reach their greatest intensity while located over warm
waters and they begin to weaken as they move in land. The intensity of tropical
cyclones differ thus we can classify them based upon their degree of intensity
associated with winds. The table below is adopted by PAGASA as of 01 May
2015 as follows

hit the Philippines in the past belongs to base on its wind speed. Write your

Direction: Find the location of the PAR by plotting the latitude and longitudes

Direction: Track the tropical cyclone using the data provided detached the MAP
