“EXECUTIVE ORDER CONSTITUTING BARANGAY TASK FORCE SITA TO

ASSIST THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE IN ENFORCING
COMMUNITY QUARANTINE MEASURES AND DEFINING ITS
FUNCTIONS”
WHEREAS, Article II, Section 15 of the 1987 Constitution declares that the State shall
protect and promote the right of the people and instill upon them health consciousness;

WHEREAS, in compliance with the above mandate of the Constitution, the Department of
the Interior and Local Government issued on April 13, 2020, Memorandum Circular No. 202-
073 providing the guidelines for the conduct of Expanded Testing Procedure for COVID-19;

WHEREAS, in Republic Act No. 11469 the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act has declared the
urgent need to mitigate, if not contain, the transmission of COVID-19 and directed that the
measures should be undertaken to prevent the overburdening of the healthcare section
including medical test and treatments of COVID-19 patients;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay has to create a group assigning particular duties to
assist the Philippine National Police and o ensure strict implementation of Community
Quarantine;

NOW THEREFORE, I, ELIEZER H. ANUTA, Punong Barangay of Sto. Niño, City of

Pagadian , Province of Zamboanga del Sur, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law,
do order and direct the following:

Section 1. CONSTITUTION OF BARANGAY TASK FORCE SITA – There shall be in

Barangay Sto. Niño a Barangay Task Force Sita composed of the following;

SECTION 2. ROLE AND FUNCTION OF BARANGAY TASK FORCE SITA – task force sita
shall have the following roles and functions;

a. To roam in all Puroks of the Barangay to ensure the implementation of

Community Quarantine;
b. To immediately report violation to the Philippine National Police;

 c. To assist the Philippine National Police in enforcing its functions amid
Community Quarantine;

 Section III. EFFECTIVITY CLAUSE - This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
