What’s New
1. The material was made of wood. The tools used to make this were a
wooden mallet, chisels, scale, and pencil, l - shape ruler, router machine,
wax, and sandpaper.
2. Made from crystal and chisels.
3. Made of cement. The tools used to wake this were screeds, wheel barrows,
portable mixer, shovels, buckets, float, and cement molds.
4. Made of metal. The tools used to make this were cold chisels, and hacksaw.
5. Made of rock. The tools used to make this were point chisel, tooth chisel,
the flat straight chisel and a hammer, all of varying sizes and weights.
a. I have noticed that all of the pictures are all about sculptures. The materials
contribute to overall appearance of each arts and crafts by the quality of the
materials used and its physical characteristics.
b. We can identify the materials used to create a particular product by its
overall appearance and the elements and characteristics of the product had.

The special characteristics of my design were beauty, love, simplicity, fashion,
and peace which makes it different from the other illustrations.
The three elements of art used in my design was texture, line and color. The
texture describes the feel of an actual surface. The surface quality of an object
can be real or implied. Line is the most basic visual element. Lines can be used to
define shapes and figures, but also to indicate motion, emotion, and other
elements. Color can be used for its decorative beauty, to create mood and to
express or arouse an emotion. In nature and in art, color has a profound effect on
the viewer

and have dark contrast. These special characteristics show beauty, love,

Bul’ul
The elements of Bul’ul especially its balance and shape make the feature
sculpture unique and beautiful that will make it stand out to other sculptures.
Higantes
The important elements of Higantes include shape, color, line, texture, pattern
and rhythm shows uniqueness and aesthetic beauty to the sculpture.
Wood Panel
he rhythm and pattern of the wood panel show uniqueness, and interest. It is
usually achieved through repetition of lines, shapes, colors, and more and creates
a visual tempo in artworks and provides a path for the viewer's eye to follow.
Additional Activities
Activity 1
1. The sculpture I found in our locality is the Lapu Lapu sculpture near the Church
of the Janiuay.
2. The characteristics of the sculpture I have found were asymmetrical, curved, a
human figure, actual, and the contrast was light.
3. The elements of the sculpture show were balance, shape, line, color, contrast,
and texture
4. These elements contribute to the appearance of the sculpture by showing
uniqueness, creativity, interest, and aesthetic beauty that will make it stand out
to other sculptures.
5. The sculpture I have found in our locality is different from the sculpture
presented in the lesson because its elements and principles owned was unique.
