Action Plan

Introduction

An open ended question about Popular Culture is why we are influenced by it. For this
assignment, I will be investigating how society gets influenced by Popular culture and things
that influence them. My aim for this investigation is to find enough research to create my
artifact and how it influences our society. I believe that my topic is important because Popular
culture encourages large groups of people to bond with one another. It has an inclusive
function in society because it unites the masses around values of appropriate conduct.

Action Plan

My main focus for this assignment is what are the things that we easily get influenced by. The
methods that I am going to use in order for me to find the answers to these questions is by
looking through websites which tell me what’s in trend right now. I will look at aspects such as
fashion, music, etc. For this research, I will be only needing secondary sources since I will be
relying on websites.
For my artwork, I have decided to do a powerpuff and clueless crossover painting. The reason
why I have chosen powerpuff girls is because its a show that talks about feminism and feminism
was huge during the pop culture era (1960s till now) .

Evaluation
I believe that I have managed to answer the question that I have stated for my action plan. One
thing that has gone wrong with my research is that it’s not relevant to my topic. An article that I
would be reading, it would have the title as what i am looking for and the contents would be
about something else. The ways I could have improved during my research would be asking the
people around me and their opinions on pop culture. Things that worked well is that I have
sustained enough information in order for me to go ahead to do my pop culture product. All the
information that I have found are relevant to my product.
