What will you need:

 Hook 3,5mm (E)

 The yarn needle
 Black craft felt (eyes) or you can buy these eyes on my Etsy shop - SKatieDes
 Needle
 Scissors
 Polyester fiberfill
 Thread - grey and white
 Euro 20 cent (diameter approx. 2cm) – half circle for each eye!
 Pins
 Wood buttons
 Pompom maker
 Yarn
o Camila Natural - 35 pink approx.

Camilla = 120mt – 137yard, 50g.

If you haven't these types of yarn, you can use some similar material, Camilla is 100% cotton.

The owl is approx. 27cm high.

Used abbreviation:

SC - single crochet
DC - double crochet
V - 2 single crochet in 1 single crochet from previous round (increase)
A - 1 single crochet join 2 single crochet from previous round (decrease)
MR - magic ring
Sl.st - slip stitch
Ch - chain
* 6 - repeat six times
Embroider eyes:

You would need felt, thread and needle. Cut out by scissor a circle, you can use coin (with
diameter of 2cm) – just half circle for each eye! Use double thread, work will go faster. Use
needle to divide felt circle on two halves and start with embroider. Hold middle circle by
guesswork. The felt is too small for compasses. Start with helping/guiding lines, than fill the
space between them. Add sparkle at the end. You would have to be very patient, but there is
nothing to be afraid of, even absolute beginner can master it. Pictures are just illustrative,
hope they will help.

Tips:
This pattern is made in a spiral of continuous rounds, without finish row with slip stitch.
I use a piece of yarn (another color then is used for crocheting) for marking each row, but you
can use special markers too. You can use Pompom maker. I use 100% cotton yarn for sewing
toy with color which is used on toy. For better imagination, you can use pins when you are
creating face and then start with sewing. At the end of each row is mention total number of
stitches.

Eyes (3,5mm pink + white) 2x

1. Crochet 3 SC with white color and 3 SC with pink color in MR. Change white to pink
yarn acc. to photo. And continue in this manner each round.
2. (V)*3 white, (V)*3 pink = 12 SC
3. (SC,V)*3 white, (SC,V)*3 pink = 18 SC
4. (2SC,V)*3 white, (2SC,V)*3 pink = 24 SC
5. Crochet with pink 7 Ch (see photo) and sew this chain in the middle to the eye.
Leave a long tail, sew to the beige parts on the head and sew eyes from felt.

Beak (3,5mm grey)

1. 6 SC in MR
2. 6 SC
3. (V)*6 = 12 SC
4. 12 SC
5. 12 SC
6. (SC, V)*6 = 18 SC
7. 18 SC
Fasten off with Sl.st.
Stuff the beak. Sides attach to each other and sew together.
Sew to the head, between beige parts.

Make a pompom and sew to the ear.
Leave a long tail and sew to the head..

Cap (3,5mm mint + beige)

Start from cap hem and change colors each second row. Start with
beige color and use Double crochet.

finger and crochet there 6 SC, 12 SC over the third finger, 6 SC over the second finger and 6
