Summary
A home visit is an important aspect of community health
services because it allows the nurses to establish strong,
positive communication with their client and support
families by providing health check-ups, referrals, parenting
advice, and other health services that may help for wellness
maintenance. Also, meeting families in their own settings
gives you the chance to really understand and recognize the
resources that surrounds your client and the opportunity to
create safe enriching environments for learning,
development and positive fulfilment.
