Chick-N-Gravy Dinner Line

1. Looking at the defect observed data, there is a clear guidance to improving the product.
The 5 defects observed are underfilled, missing label, spill/mixed, Unacceptable Taste,
and improperly sealed. Of these, Ann should recommend to her manager to show
priority to the defect unacceptable taste. The Pareto chart exemplified below shows
evidence that Unacceptable Taste has the most number of defects. A Cause and Effect
diagram would help Ann to explain to her manager create a course of action.

2. The goal is to reduce the number of Unacceptable Defects. Line 1 has more of this

3. After lowering the Unacceptable Taste Defects, the sequential defect can be analyzed
for further improvement. After the Missing Item defect is reduced, the team can move on
to the next defect, Spill/Mixed, and the pattern would continue with Improperly Sealed,
