2B- Body Plan Data Media

1. Body parameters for data collection:

○ Sleep schedule- I am going to measure how many hours of sleep I get a night

because I think that more sleep will improve how well I function. Also, I want to

see how sleep affects my emotions.

○ Muscle fitness- I am going to measure how long I spend on strength training for

my muscles every week. I will measure it in minutes. I chose this because I want

to improve my strength training and I like working out. It will help me get a better

exercise schedule.

○ Fruit/vegetable consumption- I am going to track how many meals I have fruits

and vegetables in a day. I chose this because it will help me eat more fruits and

vegetables during the day. I think it will help me improve my diet or make me see

what I need to improve.

○ Extra one: I want to track how long it will take me to be able to do the splits. I

will measure how close to the ground I am every other day.

2. Data plan:

○ Sleep schedule- This data is numbers. I will use a spreadsheet that will have the

date and the amount of sleep I got. I’ll record the data every day and use a

spreadsheet online.
○ Muscle fitness- This data is numbers. I will use a spreadsheet for this as well. I

will record the data every week and record the amount of minutes I spend strength

training.

○ Fruit/vegetable consumption- This data is numbers and text. I am going to track

this on a spreadsheet and record how many meals a day that I have fruits and

vegetables with. I will record it every day and mark how many servings of fruits

and vegetables that I consume.

○ Splits- This data is numbers and text. I will keep a journal of how close I am to

being able to do the splits, including how far from the ground I am. I will record it

every other day.
