Positive/Negative; Why?
The first message is a bit negative because she is condescending to the way she dresses. However, he
mom has good intentions when introducing her to Mark and when telling her that she used to play with
him. These interacts make Bridget think less of herself because she feels as though she needs a
boyfriend, even though she does not.

Mark ● Mark does not say much to Bridget when she comes up to him and starts talking
● Mark insults Bridget behind her back and makes her feel bad
● Mark is standing with his back turned and wearing a reindeer sweater, making
him seem more approachable

Positive/Negative; Why?
The first thing that Mark does is pretty neutral. However, the second thing he does is negative to Bridget,
and it hurts her feelings. She pretends that she does not mind when mark turns around and notices her
though.

The first message is positive because Bridget is attracted to him, but also a little negative since she is
saying he possesses so many bad qualities. The second one is positive because it shows he has interest
in her, and the third one is negative because Bridget embarrassed herself. Bridget views herself as more
of an embarrassment around Daniel because of these things.
