Negative. It seems that much of what her mother’s is communicating is her OWN standards, and she is trying
to force them upon Bridget, rather than letter her daughter develop her own sense of self

While erring on the side of creepy, he is, much like Bridget's mother, very interested in her life. Specifically
about pieces of information having to do with her self-image that she may not wish to disclose to him, or at all
for that matter.

Positive. The father seems to be comfortable in letting bridget develop in her own way, without trying to
force any standards on her (from what is shown in the clip at least. He also is shown to be sympathetic with
bridget with her mother’s actions
