Know the Type of Cholesterol You Consume

anda.html
Hi friends, Cholesterol is one of the risk factors for cardiovascular disease. With high
cholesterol levels bias causes plaque or fat hoarding in arteries resulting in blocked blood flow.
Not all cholesterol is always bad, cholesterol consists of several forms, ranging from good
cholesterol to bad cholesterol. Here's the description for you.

Chylomicrons
Chylomicrons are the largest lipoprotein particles with the highest triglyceride content
and contain little protein. Chylomicrons are formed from triasilgliserol, cholesterol derived
from food that enters the intestines. Chylomicrons are derived from the fats you eat. Because
fat cannot be absorbed properly in its natural form, then the fats will be converted into
substances that can be absorbed by iron. As fat passes through the stomach into the small
intestine, enzymes from pancreatic juices and fluids from the liver and bladder create
chylomicrons (which are mostly composed of triglycerides) by reordering these fat molecules
and improving digestion. Then, the lipase enzyme will break down the chylomicrons into fatty
acids that can be used as energy or stored in fat cells.

1. HDL cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein)

There are two main forms of HDL namely HDL 2 and HDL 3. Both forms of good cholesterol
serve to protect you from cardiovascular disease. Both types of HDL are usually calculated
simultaneously as HLD cholesterol.
HDL cholesterol moves in the bloodstream and sucks up bad cholesterol (such as biological
vacuum cleaners). HLD will carry cholesterol wax from the fat stack in the arterial build-up,
to be further broken down inside the liver. The higher your HDL levels, the better cleaning will
be. This process will lower the risk of heart and vascular disease. The point is, the higher your
HDL levels, the better.

2. VLDL cholesterol (very low density lipoprotein)

Just like chylomicrons, VLDL cholesterol is mostly composed of triglycerides. VLDL can be
formed by breaking down chylomicrons or produced by the liver. Furthermore, these
triglyceride-rich particles can be transported throughout the body for use as energy or stored in
thighs, waist, buttocks, and other storage places. Although high VLDL levels are associated
with coronary heart disease, this type of cholesterol does not cause as severe damage to LDL
cholesterol. When the level of VLDL (or chylomicron) increases, triglyceride levels will
increase while the level of good HDL cholesterol decreases.

LDL Cholesterol
LDL cholesterol is known as bad cholesterol. Cholesterol is a major risk factor for
cardiovascular disease because it inhibits arteries. For those of you who do not have heart
disease, it is worth reducing cholesterol levels up to 110 mg / dl. Cholesterol levels at this level
can help you avoid heart disease.

Why am I interested in the article?

The reason I am interested in the article above is because the article provides knowledge
about the types of good and bad cholesterol that we often consume without realizing it. So I
was interested in reading it and the article made me be careful to choose food so that it
doesn't cause disease in the future..

From the article I found foreign words that I rarely hear such as :

Cholesterol is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease due to arterial obstruction.
