Reminders:
 Use the sample research paper shown during the first week of classes as your guide in
constructing the different parts of your research paper as well as your handouts in Practical
Research 1 & 2 course and the references cited in the Syllabus and Course Outline.
 The drafts, revisions, and approved write-ups of the different parts of the research paper should
be submitted and presented in soft copies using MS Word.
 Follow the APA writing style and format as stated on 01 Handout 3.
 Compile all your work for you to trace your research development and create back-ups every
now and then.
 Be vigilant in bringing and using laptops as you do your research paper wherever you are,
especially in public places. Always ask permission from your parents in bringing laptops.
 Always submit a printed copy of 01 Activity 2 during critiquing unless a different scoring
sheet is provided.
 Once your write-up for each chapter of the research proposal is approved, have it proofread by
an English/Language Major/Expert. Ask the proofreader to sign 01 Activity 6. For the research
paper chapters, have the proofreader sign on 01 Activity 7.
 During the defense, assign at least two (2) members of your group to jot down the
recommendations of the panel.
