Cadcraft GEMS (Geometrical Management System)

Is an AutoCAD look a like CAD-system that includes the most basic CAD-
commands. GEMS is a CAD-platform that read and write native AutoCAD files
(DXF and DWG) but also support plotting of drawings. Of that reason Cadcraft
GEMS can be used as a standard low price CAD-solution. If you know how to use
AutoCAD, then you can use GEMS directly without any training at all.
Plug in based system
The main reason for Cadcraft to develop GEMS is that we can use the platform
for different Plug-ins. All options to the system are Plug-Ins. It means that our
different options are using the base functionality in GEMS for providing
specialized ore customized applications for different needs. The Plug-in
technology in GEMS is also available to third part developers by API functionality.
The price for Cadcraft GEMS is 350 euro.

Data Exchange Option (Option A)

This option includes a Plug-in that extends the number of file-formats supported
in GEMS. When using this option, the geometrical information in the files is
converted to CAD-objects like Lines, Arcs, Polylines and Circles. Data Exchange
Option support many different file types. For example: CNC-files, WMF-files and
IGES-files.
The price for Data Exchange Option is 500 euro.

CAM-Tools Option (Option B)

This option includes different Plug-ins that extends the number of commands
using for editing and handling geometries. Here are commands that
automatically optimizes geometries, removing of multiple or overlapping objects,
converting short vectorized objects to longer lines ore arcs. This is a very
powerful option that saves a lot of times when using CAD-files not intended to be
used as CAM-geometries.
The price for CAM-Tools Option is 500 euro.

Sign Maker Option (Option C)

Is an option that extends the number of commands using for sign making,
logotypes and design. By this option you can create geometry from data created
from a scanner ore a camera. It’s also possible to convert different text fonts like
TrueType or SHX to CAD-geometry. This option also includes a special command
for making tiles.
The price for Sign Maker Option is 1000 euro.

2D-CAM Option (Option D)

This option includes a flexible CAM-system for 2D cutting. The commands in this
option supports different levels of automation, from manual to automatically
generation of tool path. The 2D-CAM Option has special features for AWJ, Laser,
Water, Oxyfuel and Plasma cutting machines with full support of common cut line
and other time saving methods.
The price for 2D-CAM Option is 2000 euro.

Nesting Option (Option E)
In our new nesting option we can nest everything from a simple line to a
complex part created by the 2D-CAM Option. Normally the nesting command is
used for nesting of complex parts on a specified area. This option supports
multiple cutting heads and has different levels of automation, from manual bump
nest, grid nest to automatic nesting. The result from the nest could be use by the
2D-CAM Option or by other CAD or CAM software.
The price for Nesting Option is 2000 euro.

MRP-Option (Option F)
Our option for Material Requirement and Planning connecs the 2D-CAM Option
and the Nesting Option to the SQL-database. When saving parts in the 2D-CAM
Option, we are also saving additional information to the SQL-database. This
information can later be used for price calculation, material handling and product
planning. This new version of the MRP-option now also supports all kind of
optional operations. One part of the MRP-Option is a Plug-in to GEMS, the other
part is standard windows program that can be installed in any number of seats.
The price for the MRP Option is 2000 euro for the first license than 1000 euro for
additional licenses.

DNC-Option (Option G)
This Option is not a Plug-in to GEMS. It’s a standard windows program that
connects the CNC-cutting machine to the computer. The program can be used
for serial communication with up to 16 machines at the same time.
The price for DNC-Option is 1.250 euro.

Different customer solutions

In this version of GEMS (ADMiCUT version 3.0) it’s possible to customize the system to suit
the customer needs. All the Options can be combined in any order.

1. GEMS + option C gives you a powerfull CAD-software for Sign Making.
Price 1250 euro
2. GEMS + options A, D gives you a really low price solution for cutting simple
geometries Price 2350 euro.
3. GEMS + options A, B, C, D gives you a CAD/CAM solution for all kind of geometries.
Price is 4350 euro.
4. GEMS + options A, B, C, D, E gives you a CAD/CAM-solution with advance nesting.
Price 6350 euro
5. GEMS + option A, B C, D, F gives you a complete system with a full MRP-
functionality. The price is 8250 and 1000 more for every extra MRP-installation.
6. GEMS + option E gives you a powerful nesting software.
Price is 2350 euro.
All options except MRP-option and DNC-Option require GEMS as a platform.
