PPT presentation: Is graffiti considered art or vandalism?

3. Yay
Now I’d like to look at why graffiti can be considered art

* The first reason is that graffiti can help brighten up buildings and sidewalks.
Have you ever gone down a street, especially in the city, and noticed how grey
and boring the buildings are that you are passing? One of the best things about
graffiti is that it can help break up the monotony of the city and keep all of the
buildings from looking the same with its typically creative, colorful and bold
strokes.
Therefore, graffiti even can be used by businesses to draw attention to their
services and their products.

* The second benefit of graffiti is self-expression opportunities and awareness

raising.
In my opinion, graffiti is art. For me, the definition of art is the expression and
application of human creative skill and imagination. So just like many other
forms of art, graffiti is a new way that you can express yourself. It is wholly a
visual example of an artist’s deep connection to his or her beliefs or thoughts.
Graffiti is a way for the artists to voice their opinion about social, environmental
and even political issues.

And then from artists’ opinion, graffiti can bring awareness of people about a
mentioned topic. Graffiti can be used to represent for many huge problems in the
world such as: poverty, bullying, feminism, …

Banksy, a famous graffiti artist in England, is known for his street art. His work
is usually found in random places and often considered vandalism. The reason
people are attracted to his art is that it expresses his beliefs and often his
criticisms, especially toward corruption in politics. “He speaks for a generation,”
said Maeve Doyle, artistic director of London’s Maddox Gallery. He has created
some of the best-known graffiti ever including Flower Thrower and Balloon
Girl.

So you know when we see these graffiti art, we can have awareness of these
topic like some political or social issues (like in the Banksy’s arts).

* Last but not least, the 3rd reasons why graffiti should be art is that it can bring
Art to the public.
The problem with Art in the 21st century is that people became less interested in
Art, especially the younger generation. These people don't go to museums and
art exhibitions, and so aren't generally exposed to works of art. Well-worked
graffiti might help to redress this problem by bringing art directly to the public.
If there is a nice graffiti art at the walls on the street, everyone will see it and
maybe they will be more interested in art.

Well, I’ve told you about 3 remarkable benefits of graffiti and I believe that
graffiti can be considered art. Next, pls wcb An to continue with some reasons
why graffiti is vandalism.
