It goes without saying, graffiti is a controversial topic.

It is a way of communicating feelings and views

on society, politics and environment issues, though it can a secret message to another gang. Graffiti
is a part of the underground culture it is a language of gangs. It can be very vulgar, aggressive aswell.
As it is in writing or painting in general, graffiti doesn’t always mean art, though if it is, we call it
“street art”. I think some graffiti indeed hold different cultural values, but also it is very important to
respect the property of communities. Anyway, either it is a fingerprint of a famous street artist or
only a furious teenager’s scribble, if it is on a historic monument, it is vandalism, and it is illegal. If
you ask me, it doesn’t matter if it is a genuine art, if it harms other people’s property.
I think it is a beautiful way of expressing themselves and be listened. The casual experience to see
something beautiful while walking home from work is astonishing. In my opinion, street art worth to
be supported, as many gifted artists are out there. They are very good at making us think about
important topics, which can lead to a change in our lives.
In my point of view, authorities need to acknowledge that graffiti is a form of expression. The best
way to accommodate graffiti artists is to allow them legal space on the streets to show their art. Fully
restricting them definitely leads to cases of vandalism.
I personally don’t see much graffiti on the streets in my hometown, in case I see any, it is not
the city center, but outside close to the rural. On the other hand I have seen many beautiful street
arts in London, which were real pleasure to see.
