and classmates. Today I am going to make a presentation my neighborhood. 

I love my neighborhood. I live in a kind of quite area in Miraflores where you can
sometimes only hear the noises that some cars make. When it comes to
pollution, there is not a lot of it like in most districts in Lima. In other words, the
air in Miraflores is not very polluted. Its air quality is good. However, there is
pollution because of cars. That is why I do not like to drive my car a lot. But the
levels of pollution have definitely fell because of the pandemic.

When it comes to the houses and buildings, there are some unique buildings
that have pretty unusual shapes. However, there is one I like a lot. It is a tall
building that is unlike the ordinary ones, since its shape is not common, and it is
extremely colorful. I used to see it a lot when I used to take the bus to go
grocery shopping. I do not go the supermarket as much as I used to either.
However, I should take the bus tomorrow since I am going to visit the
supermarket anyway.

Although Lima is well known for its terrible traffic, there is light traffic in my
neighborhood. So, getting around here is not a problem for me. However, some
people might get stuck in traffic at the rush hour, but the traffic here will never
be as heavy as it is in other districts. Even though I can get around my district on
foot, I prefer riding my bike. It is more comfortable to do that so that I can feel
like I am flying.

Besides, I also love my neighborhood’s weather. The climate here tends to be

cool and overcast. Over the year, it varies from 35 F to 59 F. The temperature
depends on the season. However, my neighborhood is cloudy. This means that
there are usually a lot of clouds covering the sky. 
Also, when it comes to crime, Lima is not the safest city in the world and the
crime rate is quite high. However, my neighborhood is safer than many others.
You are not completely safe if you live in my neighborhood, but it is one of the
safest districts of the city since there are a lot of security cameras where I live.

Finally, I would like to talk about some of my favorite places in my

neighborhood. In the first place, there is my house. It is simple but elegant at
the same time. Since it is not big, it is easy to clean it. I like to keep it clean so
that it looks beautiful. However, I do not like doing the dishes nor doing the
laundry. My mom helps me with that. In the second place, there is a vintage
restaurant that I love. I do not like making dinner, and I order a lot of food from
that place. This weekend, I am going to order its special pizza since it is going to
be my little brother’s birthday. The last place I like a lot is the park that is near
my house. I go there walking or by bike. It has a lot of trees and there are some
big colorful flowers.
