Prof. Melchor C. Morandarte is the former Program Chair of the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship
under the E.T. Yuchengco College of Business (ETYCB) of Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL).
He was conferred Associate Fellow in Business Education (AFBE) by the Philippine Academy of
Professionals in Business Education (PAPBE) and an active member of the Commission on Higher
Education’s (CHED) Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT).
Elected in National position as Vice President of Entrepreneurship Educators Association of the Philippines
(ENEDA), Vice President for Luzon - Philippine Council of Deans and Educators of Business. (PCDEB, 2010-
2012), and as PRO of Council of Management Educators and Professionals in the Philippines (COMEPP,
2010-2012.
At present, Mr. Morandarte serves as evaluator and lecturer for University of the Philippines – Institute
for Small Scale Industries (UP-ISSI), Diliman, Quezon City.

For his non-governmental organizations’ (NGO) engagement, Mr. Morandarte, is the Vice President of
Small Enterprise Research and Development Foundation (SERDEF).
Mr. Morandarte, conceptualizes the “The PHP500 peso Entrep Challenge” for Grades 5 and 6 pupils of
Gagalot – Taytay Elementary School, Majayjay, Laguna.
He is the owner SIR MONG’S Foods, which feature Bicol’s best ulam (Laing, Bicol Express, Sinantol,
and other “gata” based products)
