IMPORTANT!

When replacing springs with another strength

class, the springs must be renewed on both
sides.

1. Lift the rear axles and support using (*-

match):>587124Axle standsN/A<.

2. Lift the frame to take the load off the springs.

Support the vehicle under both frame side
members using (*-match):>587043Axle stand
with wheel, 10 tonnesN/A<. Check using a
crowbar that the springs are free of load.

3. Remove the wheels and the mudguards. Use (*-

match):>587121Wheel liftN/A<.

4. Remove the four spring nuts, washers and

clamp pad. Use (*-match):>58730146 mm,
Power socket, hexagon, 1" N/A< or (*-
match):>58763736 mm, Power socket,
hexagon, 1" AD/AS3, MB4<.

WARNING!

Ensure that the spring cannot slide out of the

strap because it is very heavy.

Tap out the spring pin and remove the pin

located in the spring bracket.

6. Lift out the spring using (*-

match):>587249Hydraulic workshop crane 2
tonnesN/A< and strap.
