MOSQUITO repelling incense

Mosquito coils are a Mosquito-repelling incense, it is usually shaped

like a spiral. The coils is usually kept at the center of the spiral,
suspending that in the air, or perhaps wedged simply by two pieces of
fireproof nettings to allow continuous smouldering. Burning up usually
commences at the exterior end of the spiral and progresses slowly and
gradually toward the centre in the spiral, creating a mosquito-repellent
smoke cigarette. A typical insect coil can measure around 15 cm in size.

Neem Tree
Neem, (Azadirachta indica), also called nim or margosa, fast-growing
tree of the mahogany family (Meliaceae), valued as a medicinal plant,
as a source of organic pesticides, and for its timber. Neem is likely
native to the Indian subcontinent and to dry areas throughout South
Asia. It has been introduced to parts of Africa, the Caribbean, and
numerous counties in South and Central America. The plant has long
been used in Ayurvedic and folk medicine and is used in cosmetics and
in organic farming applications.
Neem trees can reach 15–30 metres (49–98 feet) in height and have
attractive rounded crowns and thick furrowed bark. The compound
leaves have toothed leaflets and are typically evergreen but do drop
during periods of extreme drought. The small fragrant white flowers are
bisexual or staminate (male) and are borne in clusters in the axils of the
leaves. The fruit is a smooth yellow-green drupe and has a sweet-
flavoured pulp.
Nearly all parts of the neem tree are useful, and many of its medicinal
and cosmetic uses are based on its antibacterial and antifungal
properties. Neem is commonly used in shampoos for treating dandruff
and in soaps or creams for skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis, and
athlete’s foot. It is also a component in some toothpastes and
mouthwashes, especially in the Indian subcontinent, and young twigs
are used directly as crude toothbrushes in rural areas. Neem leaves
have long been used as a traditional treatment for diabetes, and there
is some clinical evidence suggesting that it may help control blood
sugar levels.
Oil extracted from the seeds can be used directly as an insect and mite
repellent, insecticide, and fungicide and is the source of many
commercial pesticide products, including dusts, granules, and
concentrates. The primary active insecticidal ingredient, azadirachtin,
works to disrupt the hormones involved with insect molting, preventing
larvae from developing properly into adults, and is a feeding inhibitor.
Neem oil can kill soft-bodied insects on contact and decreases mating
and reproductive behaviours, reducing pest fecundity. As a fungicide,
neem oil is used to control rust, black spot, mildew, scab, anthracnose,
and blight. Given that neem oil breaks down quickly with exposure to
ultraviolet light, repeated applications are often necessary. Neem-
based pesticides generally have low toxicity for mammals and are
common in organic farming applications.

The Neem tree (Scientific Name – Azadirachta indica) provides many

useful compounds that are used as pesticides and can be used as
mosquito repellent/killer. ... Azadirachtin has been shown to inhibit
larval, pupal and adult moults and reproduction of both plant feeding
and aquatic larvae like mosquitoes.

This product is extracted from the Neem tree, which is commonly

referred to as the tree of life. Neem oil has traditionally been used as a
natural insecticide to repel harmful insects including mosquitoes. ...
Alternatively, you can burn neem leaves to repel mosquitoes.

Method
-Take dry neem leaves, make it powder in a grinder or use mortar and
pestle.
-Add them both and add some water
-You can use a coil for molder and mold
-After molding, put it in the oven for 5 minutes
-Remove the coil mixture from the molder carefully
-And it's done.
Oregano
Oregano is a medicinal herb known for its antioxidant and anti-
microbial, anti-parasitic properties. It is used for the treatment of
indigestion problems, muscle pain, insect bites,
and menstruation symptoms, bacterial and fungal infections. Dried
leaves of oregano are commonly used for therapeutic purposes; it
contains iron, vitamins, calcium, magnesium, copper, niacin and
thiamine.
Oregano plant has been used for the treatment of various diseases
since thousands of years back. Medical researches reveal that oregano
contains antioxidants, anti-microbial and anti-parasitic compounds.
Considering these medicinal properties, the studies are ongoing to use
oregano for the treatment of severe diseases such as cancer, heart
disease and muscular degeneration.
Oregano [2] (Origanum vulgare) is a flowering plant in the mint family
(Lamiaceae). It is native to temperate Western and Southwestern
Eurasia and the Mediterranean region.
Oregano is a perennial herb, growing from 20–80 cm (7.9–31.5 in) tall,
with opposite leaves 1–4 cm (0.39–1.57 in) long. The flowers are
purple, 3–4 mm (0.12–0.16 in) long, produced in erect spikes. It is
sometimes called wild marjoram, and its close relative, O. majorana, is
known as sweet marjoram.
Method
Sundry the oregano for 1-2day/s. After you sundry the oregano,
pulverize it using a mortar and pestle. Mix 20 grams of gum, 4
spoons of crushed charcoal, and 10 spoons of crushed dried oregano,
then add the oregano extract and add hot water to make paste like
consistency and then mix thoroughly in a bowl. Mold the mixed
ingredients like a spiral shape then let it dry for a few days.
Garlic
Garlic (Allium sativum) is a species in the onion genus, Allium. Its close
relatives include the onion, shallot, leek, chive, and Chinese onion. It is
native to Central Asia and northeastern Iran and has long been a
common seasoning worldwide, with a history of several thousand years
of human consumption and use. It was known to ancient Egyptians and
has been used as both a food flavoring and a traditional medicine.
China produces some 80% of the world's supply of garlic.

Throughout ancient history, the main use of garlic was for its health and
medicinal properties.
Its use was well documented by many major civilizations, including the
Egyptians, Babylonians, Greeks, Romans and Chinese
Scientists now know that most of its health benefits are caused by
sulfur compounds formed when a garlic clove is chopped, crushed or
chewed.
Perhaps the most famous of those is known as allicin. However, allicin
is an unstable compound that is only briefly present in fresh garlic after
it’s been cut or crushed
Other compounds that may play a role in garlic’s health benefits include
diallyl disulfide and s-allyl cysteine.
The sulfur compounds from garlic enter the body from the digestive
tract and travel all over the body, where it exerts its potent biological
effects.
Method
Take dry neem leaves, make it powder in a grinder or use mortar and
pestle.
-Garlic skin make it powderized in grinder
-Add them both and add some water
-You can use a coil for molder and mold
-After molding, put it in the oven for 5 minutes
-Remove the coil mixture from the molder carefully
-And it's done.
