Important: Live Online Masterclass Possibility

Traditionally, the face-to-face interview masterclass has been run in-person therefore all venues have been booked in compliance with the social distancing requirements of that city.
However, multiple universities have confirmed that they are proceeding with online interviews instead of physical as part of their entry criteria. In the event that travel or public gathering
restrictions are in place at the time of the masterclass, the masterclass will be conducted via live webinar, but, with our current technology, this will in no way hinder the quality of teaching
or experience. In fact, it will improve your chances of medical/dental entrance as you will have the opportunity to experience a simulation of a real online interview. Purchasing the course
means you have agreed to these conditions.

About iCanMed
Who We Are
iCanMed is an educational organisation that provides UCAT and interview
coaching, preparation courses and resources to support students working
towards medical or dental entry. To provide the best possible support, our team
is formed of qualified educators in the secondary and tertiary education space
with extensive experience in teaching and assessment writing. This helps us to
ensure that our approach, insights and recommendations match what schools
are looking for in candidates.
During the last four years, our team has broken down over 100,000 UCAT
questions and analysed the test-taking experience to take into account every
nuance, variation, trend and style in the most recent UCAT exams. Today,
iCanMed is partnered with over 300 schools across Australia and New Zealand
and has helped thousands of students to navigate the difficult medical and
dental journey and successfully gain entrance into medicine and dentistry.
iCanMed’s mission is to ensure that everyone interested in medicine and
dentistry understands what a career in these fields truly encompasses and
is appropriately informed about how to maximise their chances of gaining
entrance. Through the resources, courses, advice and ongoing support
we provide, our aim is to help learners to realise their potential, grow
into accountable individuals and work confidently towards achieving their
medical or dental dream.

Our Results
In August 2020, after most students had sat the 2020 UCAT exam, we carried out a survey. The results of the survey, which
had a 70% response rate, showed that the average UCAT score achieved by iCanMed students was 2920.23. According to the
preliminary 2020 UCAT statistics released by UCAT ANZ at the end of August, the 9th decile mark was 2920. This means that
the average iCanMed student scored in the 9th decile, which makes them highly competitive in securing an interview.
The 2019 cohort of iCanMed students received over 600 offers from medical and dental schools across Australia and New
Zealand, including Monash University, University of New South Wales, Western Sydney University, University of Queensland,
James Cook University, Joint Medical Program (University of Newcastle and University of New England), University of Western
Australia, Curtin University, University of Adelaide, Flinders University, University of Auckland, and University of Otago.
