1.0 PURPOSE
1.1 Ensure that delivery for Air Handling Units is carried out in proper condition as per
Method Statement and National Standard.
2.0 SCOPE
2.1 This procedure shall cover designated location for PAU/AHU delivery for ---- Project.
3.1 RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 Engineer-in-Charge is responsible for ensuring PAU/AHU delivery works is carried out as
per Method Statement and in a safe manner.
3.2 Engineer-in-Charge ensure the installation as per approved shop drawing, specifications
and recommendations form consultant / main contractor.
3.3 Engineer-in-Charge is responsible for ensure thar materials are as per approved material
submittal.
3.4 Engineer-in-Charge is responsible to check that the installation is carried out according
to the technical and engineering requirements.
3.5 Engineer-in-Charge is responsible to carry out inspections on completed works.

5.1 N/A
8.0 PROCEDURES
8.1 Checked and confirmed the delivery date for AHUs and confirmed with consultants.
8.2 Managed access route for delivery cars and crane or forklifts as per consultants and
supplier’s recommendation.
8.3 All AHUs received at site shall be inspected and ensured that the materials are as per
approved materials submittals in terms of their make, model type, point of origin and
capacity.
8.4 Upon arrival at site, AHUs shall be off-loaded carefully at site by the Site Engineer
using necessary manpower and required equipment too ensure that no damage is
caused to the Air Handling Units.
8.5 At site all the Air Handling Units will be store in a clean / dry place and adequate
covering by tarpaulin sheets will be done to protect the equipment from deposition of
construction dust till it is finally shifted to its location.
8.6 Any discrepancies, damage and etc., found will be notified and reported for further
action suitably.

12.1 Ladder used on site must be inspected and certified safe by the CPW Safety Supervisor
before use.
12.2 Ladder when used against wall shall not form an angle greater than 30 degrees from
vertical.
12.3 Ladder when in use must be fully extended with the safety catch engaged and never
stand on the top step of a ladder.
12.4 All scaffoldings to be use on site must be inspected by CPW safety supervisor.
12.5 shall be worn safety glass, ear plug, hand gloves when performing like drilling work or
other works using electric tools.

12.6 All electrical cables shall not be laid across floor or submerge in ponds of water.
12.7 Workers are to be trained for scaffolding used.
13.0 HOUSEKEEPING
14.0 INSPECTION
14.1 After completion of delivery, will be inspected with witness of the Engineer.
14.2 Attached inspection check list for above delivery.
