(a) Project managers often have to manage the trade-offs between time, cost and
performance. One technique/tool that is useful for this purpose is a priority matrix.
Explain what is meant by the following priority matrix and what options the project
manager should consider if he/she finds that the project with this priority matrix is
slipping behind schedule. 3 marks
