MEET THE TEACHER

Hello, there! My Name is Mr. Jonah Gallington! I am 24

years old, and I live in La Porte with my wife and our
two Pomeranians, Honey and Sugar. I enjoy playing
board games, watching movies and reading! I was
inspired to be a teacher through the many incredible
teachers I had as a student and hope to pass on their
legacy. I will be your child’s Alternative Academics
Co-Teacher alongside Mrs. Watts, and we will both be
supported by Mrs. Freeman and Mrs. Jandick for the
rest of the 2020-2021 school year. I am excited to be a
part of the Jaguar Nation!

MY EDUCATION:
In December of 2020 I graduated from Texas
State University with my Bachelors of Fine Arts. I
loved my time at Texas State, and spent two
summers sharing my love of the University and of
learning as an Orientation Leader for New Student
Orientation. And, In my opinion, there’s nothing
like a San Marcos sunset. Eat Em’ Up Cats!
