Subject : SUC LEVEL OF 106 STATE UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES

In accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act (RA) No. 7722, otherwise known
as the "Higher Education Act of 1994" and Republic Act (RA) No. 8292, otherwise known as
the "Higher Education Modernization Act of 1997" , pursuant to Joint Circular No. 1, s. 2016,
otherwise known as the "FY 2016 Levelling Instrument for SUCs and Guidelines for the
Implementation Thereof," and National Evaluation Committee (NEC) Resolution Nos. 1 and 2,
s. 2019, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) hereby issues the following:

I. List of SUCs with their corresponding levels pursuant to CM° 12, s. 2018 titled "2016
SUC Levelling Results, SUC Levelling Benefits and SUC Levelling Appeal Procedures"
