 INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
TATA AIA LIFE INSURANCE CO. LTD. provide successful internship program in every
year. It has earned a name for the Internship Program by providing to several
management institutes a cross India for the past several years. Last year, we had
the privilege of hosting more than hundreds of successful interns throughout the
country.
 INTERNSHIP GOALS
TATA AIA LIFE INSURANCE CO. LTD. is offering a great opportunity to the
BBA/ PGDM/ MBA students for Summer and Winter Internship in the field of Finance,
Marketing and Team Management & Team Development .
This internship offered by us will enhance in strengthening the c areer path of the
students which would help them to find a strong foothold during their curriculum and
final pla cements by gaining combined exposure and proper combined knowledge
in all specializations. The training imparted to all c andidates will be in all 3 modules
mentioned below i.e. Finance , Marketing and Team Management.
 INTERNSHIPDETAILS

Minimum Qualification:- BBA / PGDM / MBA

Duration:- 2-3 months or as stated by respective college / institution
Location:- Only Kolkata (West Bengal)

1. TRANING ON FINANCE MODULE
WILL COVER:
Fundamentals of Indian Finance and Banking , Life aInsurance Industry.
Regulatory bodies in India and their Rules and Regulations .
Intensive Knowledge on various investment products such as Life Insurance,
Mutual Funds, Equity, Bonds, CASA, MIS,PPF, FD etc . and different
Investment strategies and current investment products available in the
market .
Financial planning and c alculations & Tax planning and benefit c alculations
like IRR, XIRR, ROI etc.
Anti- money laundering rules and regulations .
Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority training and certific ation.
Training on products on the company along with client prospecting and
conversion through direct appointments
IRDA Exam is mandatory(Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority)
.
2. TRANING ON MARKETING MODULE
(PRACTICAL TRAINING) WILL COVER:

❑During practical training the students are guided to undertake Market

Survey, Database preparation of customers from their individual
correspondence or contacts, Analysis of Financial Condition and Need of
Individual customer, Planning on Future Investment Options and
Opportunities, Survey on at least 15-20 individual customers’ financial
health checkup& 100- 150 customers lead generate ( Area:- In and
around West Bengal )

❑ On completion of the Pra ctic al training, the students are required to

a chieve 3-5individual policies from the above mentioned customers
from the database prepared by them . ( Sales is mandatory)
•A senior officer/ Agency Partner would be appointed as their Marketing Guide who
would advise and train them to deal with customers and their financial planning.

•Project Report to be submitted as assigned by the company guide or mentor.

•Generation of HNI Leads and Appointments for Sales Generation.
•Market Surveys though online and offline questionnaires and data collection.
•Marketing of Financial products by analyzing Human Life Value and financial
.
•Exposure on Future investment opportunities by personally visiting clients. Client
Survey through online Questionnaires framed by the candidate.
3. TRAINING ON TEAM MANAGEMENT
WILL COVER:
Sources of Recruitment .
Live project on recruitment of advisors for the company by taking live
interviews.
Training on Te a m handling as le aders and Te a m development along with
soft-skills development so that they c an establish them in the corporate
world .
Identifying new recruitment strategies which would benefit both the
c andidate and company.
Team Management and Team Development .
 STIPEND
The students will be provided with a stipend of Rs.1500/- per month( T& C
applic able) plus added variable performance Incentives.( Earning option
approximately 15k to 2 lac)
The c andidates are eligible for Variable Stipend (performance based)
during the training as per the performance during the internship. The
variable stipend would approximately be up to 25% of generation of
business volume through 3- 5 policies as mentioned in the pra ctic al training.
Students would be required to undertake the whole training module
sequentially as mentioned above and in NO circumstance they would be
allowed to skip or juxtapose the module parts, doing which would c ause
their elimination from the internship process completely .

training programmed based on their individual performance. This would
provide encouragement and boost to the interns to perform better and

On successful completion of all the 3 training modules individually, the students
