A 9-storied framed structure building has 4 rooms in east-west direction and 6

rooms in north-south direction, floor to floor height 10 feet, assume desired
section of beams and columns, center to center span of columns is 16 feet in east-
west direction, 20 feet in north-south direction. Take k = 0.37, fc = 1,820 psi, f s =
24,000 psi, live load = 60 lb/Sft, floor finish = 10 lb/Sft. Take beam section 10
inchx15 inch and column section 10 inchx15 inch.
