    1) Students from the building department constructed a gutter trench formwork using materials like planks, nails, hammers, tape, saws and pencils. 2) The procedure involved cutting planks to equal lengths, arranging them in fours to form the sides and bracing with longer planks. This was repeated on the other side and across the top and bottom to form the box structure. 3) Additional bracing was added internally and externally to strengthen the formwork and prevent collapse before it was moved to its location at the back of the lecture hall.
