ANNUAL HARMONIZED SCHEMES OF WORK

FOR ELECTRICAL TECHNOLOGY (ET/F3)

PRODUCED BY

THE INSPECTORATE OF PEDAGOGY FOR INDUSTRIAL EDUCATION SOUTH

WEST REGION September 2014
PREFACE

In accordance with the text defining the functions of the Regional Inspectors of Pedagogy and in response to the
numerous crises in the field vis-à-vis the understanding of teaching programs of the different subjects in the electrical
technology specialty, it is incumbent on us to draw a harmonized schemes of work for teachers of Electrical
Technology in the Region

The harmonized scheme of work is only a working guide and does not replace the official syllabus. Its exploitation
must be accompanied by the official syllabus
This scheme of work is subject to regular revision based on changes on the official syllabus in one hand and the
rapid change in technology on the other hand; consequently user may make suggestions for revision

Done by:

Yuimo Michel

Regional Pedagogic Inspector for Electrical technology/ SWR

September 2014
COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of this course, the student will be able to:

-Analyze direct current electrical circuits;

-Establish the nature of alternative current and the behavior of alternating current electrical circuits;

-Establish the phase relationship between current and voltage in simple a.c circuits;

-Manipulate classical measuring instruments (ampere meter, voltmeter, multi-meter, analog and numeric multi-meters,
oscilloscope);

-Use measuring instruments adapted to each situation,

-Take data and plot experimental graphs

-Effect measurement in direct current and alternating current passive circuits.

-Plot the forward and reverse characteristics of junction and Zener diodes,

-Write a laboratory report.
