4.2 Engine Protection List


Engine protection is provided by the ECU for Coolant Temperature High Thresholds 1 and 2, Oil Pressure Low, Fuel
Temperature, Manifold Air Temperature, and Loss of Coolant.

Immediate recovery of derates is possible by throttling back or reducing load to the point of limiting the engine load by the
governor rather than the derated fuel limit.
