IMPORTANT NOTES
1. Questions for assessment will be given by the lecturer of the group.
2. Format of assessment is through online platform including email and WhatsApp as determined by the respective lecturer.
3. Submission by students can be done through uFuture (i-learn), Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, other online platforms, email or
WhatsApp, subject to the instruction and discretion of the respective lecturer.
4. Students are permitted to use other means for submission such as post if they have access issues. Students must obtain permission
from their lecturers.
5. Students must submit their work within the time given. In the event of any difficulty in submitting the work, students must contact their
lecturers for advice.
6. It is the responsibility of students to ensure that lecturers have received their assessment work. Please note that providing a screenshot
of your WhatsApp or email screen showing you have submitted your work IS NOT PROOF that you have submitted. Please obtain a
confirmation from your lecturer that the work has been submitted and received.
7. For the final assessment, students must make sure that submission is done according to the time given. If students encounter any
problems in accessing and/or submitting the answers, students MUST contact the lecturer immediately for advice. It is the
responsibility of students to inform lecturers about this. Lecturers may consider failure of submission within the time given as non-
submission and give students no marks for the final assessment.
8. Lecturers may grade students’ work in soft copy or hard copy.
9. Graded coursework will be given back to students within a reasonable time.
10. Final assessment will be marked within the time frame provided by HEA (for processing of exam results)
11. Students are advised to keep a record for each assessment question that they have received.
12. Students are advised to keep evidence of the assessment work submitted to their lecturers.
13. Students are advised to keep a record for each marks or results of assessment that have been given by the lecturer.
14. Students are advised to regularly communicate with their lecturers and to refer to their lecturers if there are any problems or
uncertainties.
